Kordan Ou is a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. With a background in information engineering, he is a certified CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) and an ISO 27001 lead auditor, committed to simplifying regulation through technology. As the founder and CEO of KryptoGO Inc., Kordan's company assists financial institutions in quickly identifying high money laundering risks with its due diligence engine built on AI and DLT.
Previously, Kordan was the General Manager of COBINHOOD, where he established the world's first zero-fee cryptocurrency exchange in 2017. He also played a significant role in the early design work of DEXON, which was the fastest underlying chain protocol at the time, successfully attracting a $20 million investment from IDG.
In 2015, Kordan started his blockchain journey at WiFire in 21 Vianet Group (NASDAQ stock code: VNET) as the Director of the Taiwan R&D Center. He contributed to the well-known open-source project Open-Falcon, which has over 6,000 stars on GitHub.
Kordan obtained a master's degree in computer science from National Taiwan University in 2011 and has consolidated his expertise in distributed systems over the past 10 years. His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to participate in various prestigious accelerators and initiatives, such as 500startups, PlugAndPlay, Microsoft accelerator, UC Berkeley Xcelerator, and Draper University.
